KETAKEEM is the alter ego of creative director and sound enthusiast Kareem Goussous, rooted in a mission to empower Middle Eastern artistry. As the commercial manager for Nogahub, one of Jordan’s premiere sound innovators, he draws on his technical and creative background to craft sets that blend jungle, drum and bass, and techno enriched with a nod to his Arabic heritage and post-modern Middle Eastern electronic influences. Influenced by his time in Jordan, Florence, Berlin, and Boston, his storytelling approach creates emotionally rich, immersive journeys that balance authenticity with a bold, modern edge.
